Announced today and pending approval from the Competition Commission of South Africa, Rhodes Food Group (Pty) Ltd, the South African based food producer, will acquire the South African fruit canning operations of USA based Fresh Del Monte Produce Corporation.

The 2009 National Ayrshire Championships were held from 29/04/2009 - 01/05/2009 in Bloemfontein. Rhodes Food Group were once again awarded several trophies and prizes in the following categories:
